FANS CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF
THE REALM
THE REALM
PORTLAND, OR, 10/20/2017 — Image Comics is thrilled to announce that the second issue of THE REALM, from Seth M. Peck, Jeremy Haun, Nick Filardi, and Thomas Mauer, is being rushed back to print in order to keep up with customer demand.
In THE REALM, our world has been overrun by creatures of myth: orcs, dragons, and countless other horrors. The remaining humans survive in an uneasy equilibrium, fighting tooth and nail to keep hold of what they have left.
“We're absolutely blown away by the response to THE REALM,” said artist Jeremy Haun. “This is exactly the book I've been building to my entire comics career. We've got epic plans for this series. We're about to take you on one hell of a ride.”
THE REALM #2 will remain available for purchase across all digital platforms, including the Image Comics website (imagecomics.com), the official Image Comics iOS app, Comixology’s website (comixology.com), iOS, Android, and Google Play.
THE REALM #2, 2nd printing (Diamond code: SEP178185), as well as THE REALM #3, Cover A by series artists Haun and Filardi (Diamond code: SEP170760) and Cover B by Kelley Jones and Michelle Madsen (Diamond code: SEP170761), will arrive in comic book shops Wednesday, November 15th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, October 23rd.

“THE REALM mixes genuine nostalgic affection for the fantasy genre with an ingenious
twist. Pure escapism and pure comics by pros at the top of their games.” —Tim
Seeley (REVIVAL, Nightwing)
“THE REALM is like Dungeons & Dragons colliding with a really great post-apocalyptic survival story. A fun genre mash-up!” —Jeff Lemire (ROYAL CITY, A.D.: AFTER
DEATH)
“An awesome blend of fantasy and dystopia. It's THE WALKING DEAD meets EAST
OF WEST with a dash of Lord of the Rings thrown in.” —Horror Talk

immensely successful in setting the mood: creative, beautiful renderings of an ugly
situation and a world that’s seen better days.” —Geek Magazine
“Writer Seth Peck and artist Jeremy Haun imbue fantasy with the survivalist rigor
of Cormac McCarthy (The Road) or Stand-era Stephen King, with threads that straddle
human need with intoxicating supernaturalism.” —Paste Magazine
“Post-apocalypse meets high fantasy in this surprisingly fun romp of a book from Seth
Peck and Jeremy Haun.” —Uproxx
