Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After: Book Trailer and Giveaway - March 24, 2011

Here is the remarkable book trailer for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After:

By liking the Dreadfully Ever After page at Facebook (click here) you will be entered in a random drawing to win a Dreadful Antidote pendant specially commissioned by Quirk Books. Eight pendants will be given away randomly. So head over to the Dreadfully Ever After page at Facebook, "Like" it, and you are entered. Easy!

But what is The Qwillery doing to celebrate the release of Dreadfully Ever After? I'll tell you.

To celebrate, The Qwillery is giving away a copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After by Steve Hockensmith (generously provided by Quirk Books) and a fantastic necklace from Cemetery Cat Jewelry.

The Goodies:

When we last saw Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy—at the end of the New York Times best seller Pride and Prejudice and Zombies—they were preparing for a lifetime of wedded bliss. Yet the honeymoon has barely begun when poor Mr. Darcy is nipped by a rampaging dreadful. Elizabeth knows the only acceptable course of action is to promptly behead her husband (and then burn the corpse, just to be safe). But when she learns of a miracle antidote being developed in London, she realizes there may be one last chance to save her true love—and for everyone to live happily ever after.

Complete with romance, heartbreak, martial arts, cannibalism, and an army of shambling corpses, Dreadfully Ever After brings the story of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies to a thrilling conclusion.

Silver plate chain holds a "traditional gray and white cameo" with only one exception..Our very proper Victorian lady is a skull. Highlighting the cameo are Swarovski crystals and sterling silver beads. clasp is pewter. 17"

I do realize that the novel is set in Regency England and the cameo is Victorian, but the eras are not so far apart!

  1. I prefer the English Countryside. It always makes me think of Wuthering Heights, and the mystery surrounding it.

  2. Snap - just been blogging about the trailer :) I adore that necklace in your giveaway!

In answer to your question, I prefer the countryside. In fact I *do* live in the English countryside..sort of, it's fast being built over. London is great for going to concerts and shows and museums etc but I always feel tiny and swamped when I first arrive.

  3. A nex P&P&Z? Yay!

Hm, that's a difficult question... But although the English Countryside is very charming, I'd pick London, because every time I visit London (I'm from Belgium), I am totally awed.
Whenever I'm on holiday there, I just love living in that city, it's just buzzing with energy and it has such a nice atmosphere. So yeah, London for sure!

I'd have to add, when I'm older and not in my early twenties as I am now, I'd prefer the Countryside. Just living the easy life away from it all and reading the books I bought while in London ;)
