ATLANTA, GA – (December 16, 2010) – Sea Lion Books is proud to announce the creative team behind P.C. Cast’s Goddess of the Rose graphic novel, part of the Goddess Summoning Series.

Award-winning New York screenwriter, Kent Dalian, has been selected as the writer for the project. Kent is no stranger to P.C.'s work, having written the screenplay for "Marked", the hugely anticipated first film adapted from P.C.'s massively successful "House of Night" series. Kent claims he has learned more about women from adapting P.C.'s work than he has in twenty five years of past relationships and is now blissfully engaged. He describes "Goddess of the Rose" as a classic love story infused with mythology and folklore, then turned completely on its head.

Alan Halpin, a much sought-after and elusive Irish artist, has been landed by P.C. to bring her wildly imaginative story to visual life. Alan has long been an icon in the world of Celtic and Gothic art as well as Irish history, myth and legend. Alan was drawn to the project because P.C.'s unique world is very fertile ground for the dark alleys and vibrant gardens of his creative mind. Goddess of the Rose is the perfect canvas for Alan's stunning talent.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
PC Cast was born in the Midwest, and grew up being shuttled back-and-forth between Illinois and Oklahoma, which is where she fell in love with Quarter Horses and mythology (at about the same time). After high school she joined the United States Air Force and began public speaking and writing. After her tour in the USAF, she taught high school for 15 years before retiring to write full time. PC Cast is a #1 New York Times Best-Selling author.
